Chinmaya Chinh-II, the second edition of a Film Making and Jury Training Workshop guided by Chinh Early Education Web Channel, was held in Chinmaya Gardens from 9 to 11 Jan 2017. 57 students of Class VIII and IX from 9 Chinmaya Vidyalayas and Vision Schools participated in this residential camp meant to impart 21^st century skills in media literacy. Guided by Chinh’s Meenakshi Rai and Vinay Rai, children learnt skills in ideas initiation, visual thinking, narrative and script writing, critical thinking and decision making. They worked in groups and learnt about documentary, fiction and animation formats. Peer learning was in full swing and an important aspect of the camp. Children from different schools were asked to work as one team, helping them to learn about cooperation and collaboration, at the same time as improving their social skills. Swamini Sampratishthananda guided the children with her inspiring and lucid talks each morning.
