The first ever CVP training program for the Swamis and Brahmacharis of Tamil Nadu was conducted on May 14 & 15, 2018 at the Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore by the CCMT Education cell.

21 participants from Tamil Nadu and 15 Vedanta Course Students attended the CVP workshop. Swami Anukoolananda presented the overview of the Chinmaya Vision of Education and inspired the participants on intellectual development and also gave tips for practical implementation of the same in Chinmaya Vidyalayas and other schools. Swami Ramakrishnanda in his unique style took sessions covering the mental and spiritual development explaining the greatness of Indian culture. Swami Mitranandaji graced the occasion and spoke on Patriotism. Swami Sampratisthananda conducted an activity based session on Physical development. Smt. Rajeshwari, Headmistress, CIRS gave a demo on imparting value based education in a classroom and Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director, CCMT Education Cell shared the diverse work done by CCMT Education Cell. The training is a take off to a grander mission to spread Chinmaya Vision of Education to many more schools is likely to be taken to the other states too.
