One of the main reasons why Chinmaya Vidyalayas are ‘Schools with a Difference’ is that we have ‘teachers with a difference’.  Every year all our Vidyalayas induct many new teachers. CCMT-Education Cell has in the past organised Chinmaya Parichaya – a programme that aims to transform a ‘new teacher’ into a ‘Chinmaya teacher.

  • Drug Demand Reduction: An Awareness Program An Awareness Program on Drug demand reduction - CCMT-EC received the unique opportunity to join hands with the National Justice for Social defence, Ministry of Social Justice & empowerment, Govt of India, to conduct awareness programs on Drugs among School Students. The program was launched in CIRS for the class 9 students on the 7th March 2019. Swami Swaroopananda, Head, Chinmaya Mission worldwide and Chairman CCMT Education Cell presented the key note address and inaugurated the function. The trained team members have so far conducted 10 programs in different Schools and have almost reached 1500 students.

  • VIII Chinmaya Netritva 2019 VIII Chinmaya Netritva - Workshop on Quality Leadership 37 delegates from 28 CVs participated in the 8th Chinmaya Netritva organised by CCMT Education Cell, from 9th to 14th May 2019 at Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore. Swamini Samprathistananda hoisted the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Flag and inaugurated the Session. Dr Senthil Kumaran, Head of The Learners Confluence conducted sessions on TQM, 5S, Framework for School Governance and Clean/Safe campus. Shri.Subramanian, co-trainer shared best practices of process approach, learning schools and collaborative climate in education institutions.   • Chinmaya Hari Seva Camp 2019 Chinmaya Hari Seva Camp 2018-19   122 Students from 12 Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s and one Hari Hara Vidyalaya participated in Chinmaya Hari Seva Camp 2018 -19 organised by CCMT Education Cell, Coimbatore from 2nd May to 6th May 2019. Swami Anukoolananda ji inaugurated the session. Br.Sanatan Chaitanya conducted Spiritual Sessions explaining the meaning of Seva and the Camp Song. Dr. Meera Krishnan took sessions on activities of CORD and importance of sanitation. She also guided the students in the practical sessions at the village.   Swamini Vimalananda answered questions raised by the children in one session.   • Chinmaya Shubh Sahas Camp 2018-19 XVII Chinmaya Shubh Sāhas Camp held by the National Adventure Foundation for CV students   46 students from CV, Bokaro, CV, Begumpet and CV, SSS Virugambakkam participated in this 17th Shubh Sahas - adventure camp organised by CCMT-EC at Camp Splendour Udumelpet, Coimbatore from 23rd to 25th April 2019. The camp was conducted by team from NAF Camp Splendour, Udumelpet.  Sri.
