Chinmaya Gaurav Award-2019

Ms.Leela K.M. PGT Mathematics who has been working in Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kannur and having rendered more than 26 years in the field of education as a Maths teacher was awarded the prestigious CBSE Award to Teachers in the year 2018. She was selected for the innovations in classroom teaching and she was the sole recipient from Kannur, North Kerala for the prestigious National Award Ms. Leela has published a Text book ‘Excel in Mathematics’ for class I to V which is used in many schools all over India.

She received the CBSE Award from the Union Minister of State for Human Resources Shri Upendra Kushwaha at a function in New Delhi on 6 Sept. 2018. CCMT Education cell honoured her with the Chinmaya Gaurav Award and the award was handed over to her by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda ji on the 17 th Oct 2019 during the Geeta Gyana Yagna at Thrissur, Kerala acknowledging her outstanding contribution in the field of teaching.
