An online session on the impact of the National Education Policy on schools

An online session on the impact of the National Education Policy on schools was conducted by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMT Education Cell, on 21st September 2020 from 10am to 11.30am for the Principals and Senior teachers of the Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s. The session was attended by about 100 participants including a few members of the management too. The presentation included the valid features form the draft presented by the Kasturi Rangan Committee. It also accentuated the need for schools to look at education from the point of view of children and thus get ready with necessary adaptations at all levels in the Vidyalayas’. The correlation between the CVP and the latest NEP was also clearly explained. Participants placed good number of questions which were also clearly answered by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy. It was a very informative session and all participants got a clarity on the salient features of the National Education Policy.
