Hari Seva
The Chinmaya Education Cell and CORD
The Chinmaya Hari Seva Program began as an outcome of the seva sangam conducted by the Chinmaya Education Cell in 2010. The Seva Sangam was conducted for all the members of all the Vidyalayas to imbibe the quality of Seva in their lives.127 teachers and staff attended the 5 day seminar held at CIRS under the guidance of Swamini Vimalananda.
Following the seminar on service mindedness the Hari seva camps are regularly organised by the Edu Cell.

They then break into multiple groups to work in different areas.
Some of the areas they work in are as follows

Till date 10 such camps have been conducted to enable children to develop the seva bhava. In the year 2024 due to overwhelming response two camps were held back to back in Chinmaya Gardens. In total 50 Schools have participated in these camps, of which 4 were Vision Schools, and 1181 children have benefited from the same.
In the year 2019 a camp was also conducted exclusively for the children of Jharkhand and neighbouring regions. This camp was in collaboration with CORD Lathikata and the children, besides their activities could also go into the tribal villages nearby and interact with the children there.
